Mid Year is coming. I don’t know why my heart throb so fast and I can’t stay on focus whilst studying. So I tend to blog about “ we as Muslims on seeking knowledge”. Sometimes, we used to ponder why and why we learn all such things. For instance, we want to be Forensic or a Teacher but why we must know part of the knowledge that aren’t related to what we want to be? The simple answer “Because of Allah”. But yes, I admit that it’s so difficult to set the right intention when seeking the knowledge. It is so hard and I can’t handle with it; used to.
I always run from the right track which is, studying to get the best mark so I can be on the top rank, or so that we can get a wave of compliment from others or to make our parents proud of us. I don’t like if my intention based on that. Correcting our intention if we feel that we study because we want to compete with others or to achieve worldly gains because if we seek knowledge because of these, we have been incurred loss.
And that's why sometimes it's so hard for us to gain a new knowledge, or to understand something, and to memorize something; it is all because of our intention. What we do, the difficulties on doing something comes from our intention. I want to give my advice to all my readers so do my own self, make sure that our intention to study certain things because of Allah. He wants us to get knowing Him and to get clingy to Him by the knowledge that He has provided for us to explore.
Struggle or at least put an effort to achieve something. It's not easy to be succeed. It's such a uphill battle. If you think you've been travail more than enough but then you don't get what you want, remember that the struggle that we've been put on will be paid off. That's Allah's deal. He never breaks His promise. That's the deal. You will get what you want if you put an effort on it. But, don't expect that; for instance, you have studied a lot for the Mid Year but you don't get what you want, and you sum up that life is unfair because of the rotten luck. Have a faith to Allah. He'll give that success on the right time. The perfect time; that's the deal. Make sure your heart is sacred from the ploy of Satan.
Pray this before you start your study. I don't remember that Arabic one.
"Ya Allah Ya Tuhanku, Engkau berikanlah aku daya hafazan yang kuat umpama para Nabi, daya kefahaman yang tinggi seperti Para Malaikat, dan kembalikanlah segala ilmu yang telah aku pelajari di saat aku memerlukannya"
The fact, we'll forget something if we've remembered the new one. So yeah, make that pray as a routine. "Kembalikanlah ilmu yang telah aku pelajari di saat aku memerlukan". Be firm on your study. Have a great day.
